Jackie Stendel is a visual artist from Toronto, Ontario. She explores painting, installation, photography and drawing. She graduated from Claude Watson School for the Arts, and is currently studying Art Education at Concordia University. She uses colour and images to analyze the demarcation between nature-made and human-made settings and objects. By using bright, toxic colours to represent the altered landscape, and natural colours to represent the nature-made, her work explores emotional questions pertaining to our relationship with nature.
